Not a Chocolate Starfish.

Yes, nothing at all to do with Limp Bizkit, we have here for your viewing pleasure a rarely seen item: A 6 armed (or legged) starfish!

Seller bearsamy1 says:
"it was found on Block Island Sound in Rhode Island. I have
looked all around and have never seen another starfish like this.
If you are an avid starfish collector, you just have to have this. It
is only about 3" wide."

I had no idea that there were avid starfish collectors out there!

Ello, Ello...

Why the echo?
One for each head of course.

Dethcheez on ebay is sellling a
2 headed (expired)
turtle.

Was it really born with 2 heads?

Er... no, but it fooled me.
Auction states that:

"This One Of A Kind Gaff
Was Handcrafted
From Real Turtle Parts"

What some people get up to, I don't know...

DIET COKE ANYONE?

How 'bout this lovely bottle from the 60's?
Elegant, trim,
slender, very beautiful, except
for the dead bugs
in the bottom. Almost looks
like a squished Photoshop image.

They don't make 'em quite like this anymore.

You can own it by bidding here.
It stands 20 inches tall,
and it is 2 and a half inches in
diameter at the base. A must for any weird collector, go on start a bottle collection today!

Update*
Unfortunately this auction ended with no bids.

If you're into blogging in a big way, this is for you.
The reserce is set at $3500, which may seem like a lot, but
consider how much the dot com is worth, and it seems like a

Most Expensive Little Green Army Man?

For those of you with a nostalgia for little green soldiers, rememberig those hours spent in the dirt attacking your enemies, have a look here at an auction by one of eBay's craziest characters, the NLrebel.

He has already had 37 bids and reached $86. Would you pay that for a toy soldier, the same type that appear in Toy Story? Is this truly the most expensive little Green Army man? It will be very interesting to keep an eye on it.

Ultimate Weird Auctions Book.

Have you missed weird auctions in the past? Want a permanent record of all those weird things on eBay? Look no further than here. Beavinsons is auctioning off pages from "The Grilled Cheese Madonna and 99 other of the Weirdest, Wackiest, Most Famous eBay auctions ever!"
This book is so new it's not even in print yet. Due to be released on May 9th, but available for bidding on NOW, as Tim aka Beavinsons got hold of an "authors pre-copy of the book."
Be first to own a page from the book signed by both Beavinsons and the author Christopher Cihlar.
An investment or oddity, you decide!

ps. also marvel at the rather "unique" to the auction!

So why the interest in weird online auctions?
Well, I'm afraid I'm one of those people who auctioned of something
slightly odd: my beard!
It had grown for over a year and it was time for a shave, so posting it
on an auction site seemed like a bit of fun.
I only got a bid of £0.50, but unfortunately, the buyer did not collect.
That was one of the rules: the buyer had come with scissors at the ready.
I later sold it at work for charity and made £10.

Oh well, I might grow it back in twenty years.

Not the wildest of first posts for this blog, but I love the smell of old books,
